The race is homologated and included in the national calendar of the RFEA in the distances 21K and 10K. The race becomes a night experience in the tourist city by excellence.
The test, which will celebrate its 37th edition, will go through the two promenades and between the skyscrapers of the city from the beginning with the farewell of the sun (18:30 hours) and until the night of the city of Alicante. This night setting also allows the focus to be on a spectacular experience with a production full of lights, colours and music.
The race runs along a route marked with kilometre points and miles and with a wide deployment of ambulance service and a field hospital at the finish line. The provisioning is located every five kilometres. The race animation extends to the finish line, where the three trophies await for each of the categories. All finishers will receive their medal for having completed the Benidorm Half.
It has a marked international character, being the British the ones that generate the highest census of participants from outside of Spain with 30%. The test, in addition, has a presence of women runners that reaches 35%.
