The Benidorm Half 2025 activates its first 2,000 bibs in the first 24 hours of opening registrations

More than 1,100 are British runners living in the UK and 750 are Spanish. There are also participants from Belgium and Norway

In the first 24 hours of the opening of the registration period for the next edition of the Benidorm Half 2025, runners have already collected 2,000 bibs. The organisers of the event, Tour-Sport Promociones Deportivas, activated a special discount on the first day and expectations were far exceeded. Of those registered, a total of 1,108 are British residents in the United Kingdom and 750 are Spanish; there are also runners from Belgium and Norway. But the process has only just begun for the Benidorm Half Marathon, an event that also includes a 10K, which will be held on 22 November.

“It is a great satisfaction to see how loyalty, on the one hand, but also new registrations, on the other, grow with each edition. The expectations that were had regarding those first 24 hours have been more than met. And the numbers for a great race are being considered. The Benidorm Half grows year after year. Of course, this means that the organization is working to improve the experience of the runners with each edition,” say the race directors Fernando Brotons and Daniel Artíguez.

The price ranges will continue as follows for the 21K: after the first 24 hours of the opening of the registration process, a period begins until April 3 with a price of 27 euros. Then, from April 4 to June 5 for 30 euros, followed by June 6 to October 2 for 33 euros and from October 3 to November 16 for 36 euros.

For the 10K, the ranges will follow the following phases after the first 24 hours completed: from January 15 to April 3 (22 euros), from April 4 to June 5 (24 euros), from June 6 to October 2 (26 euros) and from October 3 to November 16 (28 euros).

The circuit will be approved for both distances and it should be noted that the event is included in the national calendar of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA). The 21K (measuring 21,097 metres) and the 10K (measuring 10,000 metres) with the start at Av. Comunidad Valenciana (corner of Calle Bélgica) and the finish at Plaza de SS.MM los Reyes de España, 1 in Benidorm (City Hall). As in the last two editions, the Benidorm Half, organised by Tour-Sport Promociones Deportivas, will feature popular runners and will also continue to be committed to the presence of elite athletes.

The Benidorm Half is organised by Tour-Sport Promociones Deportivas and this 2024 had the institutional support of the Benidorm City Council, Visit Benidorm and Turismo de la Comunitat Valenciana while the private sponsors are Meliá Benidorm, Coca-Cola and Sala Marina. The race, with its two distances of Half Marathon and 10K, will take place on November 22, 2025

The Benidorm Half 2025 opens the registration period this Tuesday, January 14, and with it, a first option is enabled to acquire the bibs for the next edition with a special discount during the first 24 hours. The race, which takes place in two distances, 21K and 10K, will take place on November 22, once again covering the skyline of the city of tourism par excellence.

The price ranges will continue as follows for the 21K: during the first 24 hours of the opening of the registration process, the price will be only 22 euros between five in the afternoon on Tuesday, January 14 and the same time on Wednesday, January 15. After that period and until April 3, the price will be 27 euros. Later, from April 4 to June 5 for 30 euros, it will continue from June 6 to October 2 for 33 euros and from October 3 to November 16 for 36 euros.

In the case of the 10K, the prices will follow the following phases: during the first 24 hours of the opening of the registration process, the price will be 17 euros between five in the afternoon on Tuesday, January 14 and the same time on Wednesday, January 15. The following sections will be from January 15 to April 3 (22 euros), from April 4 to June 5 (24 euros), from June 6 to October 2 (26 euros) and from October 3 to November 16 (28 euros).

“The organization was very satisfied with the 2024 edition. But from the day after the race we started thinking and working towards the 2025 edition, which will be on November 22. As always, we try to prepare the best possible experience for the runners in the Benidorm Half, both in the 21K and the 10K, for the citizens, who we hope will become increasingly involved in the event, and for all the collaborating institutions and brands,” explain Fernando Brotons and Daniel Artíguez, race directors and CEOs of Tour-Sport Promociones Deportivas.

“A new participation record was set in 2024, with the arrival of 6,500 runners from 25 different countries, and with a very notable fact being the fact that 43.1% came to Spain from a specific country, the United Kingdom. For the 2025 edition, we hope that the number of entrants will continue to grow, which already places us with a label of a great race; and that we can continue to maintain the general commitment to how this event is understood, which has already been held for three editions with elite figures,” they point out.

The circuit will be approved for both distances and it should be noted that the event is included in the national calendar of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA). The 21K (measuring 21,097 metres) and the 10K (measuring 10,000 metres) will start at Av.
