The Brazilian firm of high performance sports footwear joins the Alicante race in the Half Marathon and 10K distances.

The Benidorm Half and Olympikus, the internationally recognized Brazilian sports footwear brand, reached an agreement for the high-performance sneakers company to become the official sponsor of the 2025 edition of the Half Marathon and 10K, to be held in the city of tourism par excellence on November 22.

The agreement reinforces the international positioning of the Benidorm Half as one of the most important races in the Spanish and international national calendar, representing the strategic landing of Olympikus in the European running market.

Olympikus is Brazil’s largest sports footwear brand, which in 2025 celebrates 50 years of experience in the development of high-performance running shoes. With a strong presence in Latin America, Olympikus is known for integrating technology, comfort and design into its products, with proprietary and exclusive technologies such as Eleva+, Gripper and Oxitec, designed specifically to improve runners’ performance.

With this new sponsorship, the Benidorm Half and Olympikus join forces to consolidate Benidorm as the epicenter of international running in the province of Alicante and the Valencian Community. The incorporation of Olympikus as an official sponsor reinforces the commitment of the Benidorm Half with excellence and innovation in the sports field.

Fernando Brotons, director of the Benidorm Half, considers that “having Olympikus as one of our official sponsors is a significant step for the growth of the Benidorm Half”.

The Benidorm Half 2025 will have, as usual, two distances approved by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation: 10K and 21K, running through the most emblematic places of the city of Benidorm, as well as the old town or its promenade. The Benidorm Half, organized by Tour-Sport Promociones Deportivas, has experienced a remarkable growth in recent years, consolidating itself as a reference event in the national and international calendar of popular races.

In the last edition, the race gathered more than 6,500 runners from 46 Spanish provinces and 25 countries, highlighting the presence of British athletes and the inclusion of Olympic and Paralympic figures.
